Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Pith collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Your account email and display name, the tasks, projects and workspaces you create, a count of the voice commands you use each month so your plan's allowance can be enforced, and crash and error diagnostics. If you joined the waitlist on the website, we hold the address you gave us and the language you were reading the site in — nothing else.
How we use it
To run Pith, sync your data across devices, send transactional email (sign-in, workspace invites), answer your voice commands, and fix crashes. We don't sell your data and we don't profile you for advertising.
Where it lives
Your account and content are stored on Supabase (Postgres) in the EU region. Transactional email goes through Resend. Crash and error reports go to Sentry with personally identifying data switched off, so a report carries the fault and not your identity. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store and RevenueCat. Speech recognition is Apple's own and does not always run on your phone — see Voice commands below.
Voice commands
Speech is turned into text by iOS's own speech recognition. Pith never records or stores the audio, and asks iOS to keep recognition on the device — which Apple honours only where the offline model for your language is installed. Where it is not, iOS sends the audio to Apple's servers instead, and tells the app nothing about which of the two happened. Simple commands are then understood on your device by Apple Intelligence and never leave it. Anything more complex goes to Anthropic's Claude API, together with the context needed to act on it: your project names, the names of people in the workspace, how many tasks sit in each quadrant, and the titles of your next few tasks. Anthropic's commercial terms bar them from training models on any of it, and their handling of it is governed by their data processing addendum. If you would rather none of that left the device, don't use voice.
Sharing
Workspace data is shared with the members of that workspace. We don't share your personal data with third parties except the processors listed above.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, leave or delete workspaces, and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account takes effect immediately: the workspaces you own go with it, along with their tasks and projects, and your subscriber record is deleted from RevenueCat.
Cookies and tracking
The website sets one cookie, and only once you pick a language: it remembers that choice so your next visit opens in the same one. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and no third-party scripts on the site at all. The app ships no advertising or analytics SDK.
Children
Pith is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We'll update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
